wasȱelliptic,ȱleafletȱmarginȱwasȱentireȱandȱleafȱcolourȱ Theȱ kernelȱ flavourȱ wasȱ satisfactoryȱ andȱ kernelȱ
wasȱgreenȱinȱallȱtheȱfourȱgenotypes.ȱTheȱgreenȱcolourȱ plumpnessȱwasȱmoderateȱinȱallȱtheȱgenotypes.ȱTheȱ
ofȱtheȱfullyȱexpandedȱleavesȱwasȱinȱconfirmativeȱwithȱ kernelȱfillȱwasȱhoweverȱmoderateȱtoȱwellȱinȱG 3 ȱandȱ
theȱfindingsȱofȱSharmaȱ et al. (2014).ȱTheȱhighestȱvalueȱ wellȱ inȱ natureȱ inȱ otherȱ threeȱ genotypes.ȱ Easeȱ ofȱ
ofȱleafȱlengthȱwasȱrecordedȱinȱG andȱG 4 ,ȱwhereas,ȱG 3
removalȱ ofȱ kernelȱ halvesȱ wasȱ veryȱ easyȱ inȱ G 2 ȱ andȱ
recordedȱtheȱmaximumȱinȱwidthȱofȱleafȱandȱnumberȱ easyȱinȱotherȱthreeȱgenotypes.ȱTheȱkernelȱcolourȱwasȱ
ofȱleafletsȱ(Tableȱ3).ȱSimilarȱtoȱtheȱpresentȱfindings,ȱaȱ lightȱinȱG 2 ȱandȱG 4 ,ȱwhileȱextraȱlightȱandȱlightȱtoȱamberȱ
significantȱdifferenceȱinȱfoliageȱcharactersȱwereȱalsoȱ wasȱobservedȱinȱG ȱandȱG respectively.ȱ(Tableȱ2).ȱTheȱ
reportedȱbyȱSharmaȱ et al. (2010).ȱRachisȱcolourȱwasȱ maximumȱnutȱdiameterȱandȱnutȱlengthȱwasȱobservedȱ
observedȱgreenȱandȱshootȱcolourȱwasȱbrownȱinȱallȱ inȱtheȱgenotypesȱexcludingȱG 2 .ȱThisȱisȱhigherȱthanȱ
theȱ genotypesȱ andȱ shootȱ pubescenceȱ andȱ leafȱ andȱ theȱvalueȱobservedȱbyȱSharmaȱ et al. (2014)ȱinȱcloneȱ
rachisȱpubescenceȱwasȱglabrousȱinȱallȱtheȱgenotypesȱ ‘GL0109’.ȱTheȱshellȱthicknessȱandȱinshellȱnutȱweightȱ
exceptȱG 3 ȱwhichȱwasȱslightlyȱpubescent.ȱSharmaȱ et
recordedȱ theȱ maximumȱ inȱ G 4 ȱ andȱ G 3 ȱ respectively.ȱ
