Title: Evaluating Intra-Individual Intercorrelations in Differential
Psychological Diagnostics: Conventional Methods and Emerging
Approaches
Abstract :
Abstract :
This paper examines conventional statistical methods in differential personality diagnostics and presents an alternative approach to capture intra-individual intercorrelations. Traditional techniques, including Pearson correlation coefficients and z-scores, standardize individual deviations using group-level data but often fail to reflect subtle interactions among personality facets. This omission can result in incomplete diagnostic profiles, potentially overlooking clinically significant patterns. We describe the mathematical underpinnings of these methods and introduce a procedure that computes the product of z-scores as a proxy for intra-individual covariance. Although this approach offers enhanced insight into individual personality structures, it is not without limitations and does not represent a definitive solution. Implications for clinical practice, epistemology, and future research in precision psychology are discussed to support
more robust diagnostic evaluations. Overall, the study clearly highlights the pressing need to combine refined statistical methods with clinical insight for a more accurate understanding of personality, paving the way for further research.

Title: Current Status and Prospects of Acupuncture and Moxibustion
Treatment
Abstract :
Abstract :
Acupuncture and moxibustion are currently in the spotlight as a new medical treatment in Europe and the United States and around the world. Data shows that one in ten doctors in Germany uses acupuncture in their treatments, and in Japan, acupuncture is also used to treat symptoms such as back pain and knee pain. In the United States, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) issued a statement in 1997 partially acknowledging the effectiveness of acupuncture treatment, and clinical trials have begun to be conducted at great expense. Even now, research on acupuncture and moxibustion is continuing at Harvard Medical School, a world-renowned university, and many studies are being conducted to scientifically prove the effectiveness of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment. Acupuncture and moxibustion is a medical treatment with a long history, having originated in China and then spread to Japan via the Korean Peninsula. The reasons why acupuncture and moxibustion medicine has been accepted throughout such a long history include its immediate effect and simplicity, but the biggest factor is the idea that the mind and body are inseparable. In modern society, where mental disorders caused by stress are considered to have a negative effect on the body, the demand for acupuncture and moxibustion, which improves both physical and mental health through minor stimulation of the surface of the body, is expected to continue to increase. In addition to modern medicine, a new style of medicine that actively introduces various treatments collectively known as “alternative medicine” (aromatherapy, supplements, traditional medicine, etc.) is called “integrative
medicine.” In Europe and the United States, the number of medical institutions practicing this type of medicine is increasing, and the global integrative medicine market is expected to reach 33.3 billion dollars by 2025. In Japan, too, there is a tendency for an increasing number of medical institutions to use acupuncture
Title: Innovations in Port and Shipping Management: Enhancing
Operational Efficiency, Sustainability, and Digital Transformation
Abstract :
Abstract :
The port and shipping industry is witnessing an exciting revolution, propelled by swift technological advancements and a pressing demand for improved operational efficiency, sustainability, and digitalization. Serving as vital links in the global supply chain, ports are essential for smooth operations, and any inefficiencies can lead to costly delays and environmental challenges. Traditional management methods that lean heavily on manual processes and standard logistics are increasingly falling short in tackling contemporary issues like port congestion, carbon emissions, cybersecurity threats, and changing trade dynamics. In response, ports and shipping companies are embracing innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), smart automation, and eco-friendly shipping solutions. This study sets out to explore how these technological innovations enhance efficiency, minimize environmental impact, and spearhead digital transformation within port and shipping management.
Employing a dynamic mixed-method approach, we gather primary data through surveys and interviews with critical stakeholders, including port authorities, shipping companies, and policymakers. We also analyze secondary data sourced from industry reports, academic journals, and case studies. To efficiently assess the impact of these innovations, we apply various statistical techniques, including descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), and SWOT analysis. The findings reveal
that AI-driven predictive analytics markedly boost port efficiency, Blockchain fosters transparency and enhances cybersecurity, while IoT-driven automation significantly streamlines cargo handling processes. Furthermore, green shipping technologies, such as LNG-powered vessels and shore power systems, play a crucial role in reducing emissions. However, hurdles like high implementation costs, regulatory challenges, and cybersecurity threats continue to pose significant obstacles. This study advocates for collaborative
