ofȱtheȱfarmersȱhadȱlowȱandȱhighȱknowledgeȱlevel,ȱ lackȱofȱknowledgeȱregardingȱrecommendedȱfertilizerȱ
respectively.ȱTheȱaverageȱknowledgeȱlevelȱofȱpotatoȱ doseȱandȱdiseaseȱmanagementȱasȱevidentȱfromȱdata.ȱ
farmersȱwasȱfoundȱtoȱbeȱ50.10ȱperȱcent.ȱThisȱshowedȱ AlmostȱsimilarȱfindingsȱwereȱreportedȱbyȱKirarȱandȱ
thatȱmostȱofȱtheȱfarmersȱhadȱlowȱtoȱmediumȱlevelȱ Mehtaȱ(2009)ȱinȱtheirȱstudyȱofȱknowledgeȱgapȱinȱriceȱ
ofȱknowledge.ȱThisȱmayȱbeȱdueȱtoȱlackȱofȱeffortsȱofȱ production.ȱMajorityȱofȱfarmersȱwereȱwellȱawareȱofȱ
villageȱandȱblockȱlevelȱextensionȱworkersȱinȱtransferȱ improvedȱ varietiesȱ ofȱ potato,ȱ methodȱ ofȱ fertilizerȱ
ofȱnewȱpotatoȱtechnologiesȱtoȱfarmingȱcommunities.ȱ application,ȱrowȱtoȱrowȱandȱplantȱtoȱplantȱspacingȱ
