GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTORS
NDP Journal of Horticulture and Plant Science (JHPS) is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high quality, original research. Thank you for choosing to submit your paper to us. These instructions will ensure we have everything required so your paper can move through peer review, production and publication smoothly. Before submission of the new manuscript authors should consider the following general rules for preparation of the manuscript. Please read these instructions carefully and follow the guidelines strictly. All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. Original articles should not be submitted simultaneously to other journals.
General guidelines
•The manuscripts must be written in Standard English language and writing style should be clear, concise, and precise.
•The manuscript length must not exceed 4500 words for the RESEARCH ARTICLES and REVIEWS sections, 3000 words for SHORT COMMUNICATIONS and 2000 words for POPULAR ARTICLES including Titles, Author names and addresses, Abstract, References, Table and Figure Legends, with up to five Figures and / or Tables. Manuscript greatly exceeds this will be critically reviewed with respect to length for consideration.
•Authors should include line number and word count with their manuscript.
•Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order: title page (including Author names and addresses; Funding and grant awarding bodies); abstract; keywords; main text; Acknowledgements; Conflict of Interest Statement; References; appendices (as appropriate).
•Funding paragraph should be as follows:
For single agency grants This work was supported by the under Grant .
For multiple agency grants
This work was supported by the under Grant ; under Grant ; and under Grant .
•Title of the manuscript should not exceed 25 words.
•Maximum length of abstract is 250 words.
•Each manuscript should include up to 6 keywords.
•Table(s) and figure(s) must be saved separately, as part of the file containing the complete text of the manuscript, and numbered correspondingly.
•Authors should give conflict of interest statement in their manuscript.
•All authors of a manuscript should include their full names, affiliations, postal addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses on the cover page of the manuscript. One author should be identified as the corresponding author. Please give the affiliation where the research was conducted.
•Authors must adhere to SI units.
•Abbreviations should be spelled out in full at first mention.
•Manuscripts must be electronically submitted. Use letter size paper, 12 point Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing, 2.5 cm margins, page numbers at the bottom right-hand corner and continuous line numbers.

Ideally, the names of all authors should be provided, but the usage of “et al” in long author lists will also be accepted:
