Title: Design of Accelerometer Based Robot Motion and Speed Control with Obstacle Detection
Abstract :
The objective of this paper is to minimize human casualties in terrorist attack such as 26/11. The idea is to design a robot having a wireless camera mounted on it, so that it can monitor enemy remotely when required. It can silently enter into enemy area and send us all the information through its tiny camera eyes. Since human life is always precious, these robots are the replacement of fighters against terrorist in war areas. This spy robot can also be used in star hotels, shopping malls, jewelry show rooms, etc where there can be threat
from intruders or terrorists.
Title: A Study on Gender Differences on Gratitude, Spirituality and Forgiveness Among School Teachers
Abstract :
Gratitude is a sense of thankfulness and joy in response to receiving a gift, whether the gift be a tangible benefit from a specific other or a moment of peaceful bliss evoked by natural beauty. Spirituality has been defined in research literature as the process of seeking personal authenticity, genuineness, and wholeness; transcending one’s current locus of centricity.
Forgiveness is a suite of pro-social motivational changes that occurs after a person has incurred a transgression. However, no comprehensive review of literature is available on the cumulative effect of gratitude, spirituality and forgiveness and on the role and contribution of gender differences for the same. Therefore, taking this into consideration the present study attempted to investigate gender differences on gratitude, spirituality and forgiveness among 80 school teachers for which t-test was computed. Results indicated
that significant gender differences were found among male and female teachers with respect to gratitude (males found to be higher than females), spirituality and forgiveness (females were found to be higher than males on both the dimensions). However, further research is needed to substantiate the same.
Title: Preparation of Some Nutritionally Superior Quality Mayonnaise Products
Abstract :
Some new kinds of mayonnaise have been formulated with a view to provide certain nutritional benefits and functional advantages over the conventional types of mayonnaise. Cholesterol free egg protein and milk protein casein which is a phosphoprotein have been incorporated in it. The fat phase has been chosen to improve nutritional quality, texture and taste. Physical characteristics of mayonnaise prepared from blend of Rice Bran Oil
and Palm stearin , Rice Bran Oil and Vanaspati and blend of Rice Bran Oil and casein powder in varying ratio have been also investigated. The study reveals that blends of Rice Bran Oil and Palm stearin in the proportion of 7:3 and 6.5:3.5 gives soft appearance, creamy appearance including the softness and perfect appearance respectively. The product
developed from Rice Bran Oil are expected to contain antioxidants like oryzanol, squalene, tocopherols, tocotrienols and polyunsaturated fatty acid like linoleic. The mayonnaise prepared from Casein and Rice Bran Oil (7:3 w/w) also gives an acceptable mayonnaise with soft appearance and sweet acceptable taste.
Title: Cloud Computing: Emphasizing Hybrid Cloud Computing on Android Computing Platform–An Overview
Abstract :
Cloud Computing is one of the important name in the field of Computer Engineering and Information Science (IS). It is treated as an internet service which is responsible for extensible services dynamically on the internet. Cloud Computing is actually a virtualization in which sharing of hardware and software is possible. Cloud computing practically has created a new day for IT firms, commerce and corporate house and so on. Hybrid computing
is the computing concept and strategy where combination of more than one cloud platform and architecture basically taken place or integrates. It is now proven that cloud computing on Android platform gives us much flexibility and efficiency. The paper describes the whole aspects of these emerging technologies briefly.
Title: Utilization of Moringa Leaves as Valuable Food Ingredient in Biscuit Preparation
Abstract :
This work deals with the studies on the composition of the constituents of Moringa leaves and scope for their utilization as food ingredient. Tests were performed to analyze the potential of Moringa oleifera leaves and scope for its food uses which have been carried out (after drying the collected leaves partially) using some common analytical methods revealing percentages of moisture, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrates and fibre that are 15%,
12.9 %, 13.66%, 4.58%, 42.57% and 10.95% respectively whereas antioxidant activities of the methanolic extract (concentration 0.1mg /ml) of moringa in terms of DPPH radical scavenging activity was 65% .The analytical tests on the extract shows absence of gum, steroid, saponin and presence of tannin and flavonoids. Moringa leaf enriched Biscuit was
formulated utilizing this natural resource for analyzing the effects of processing on it. The biscuits prepared by using moringa leaf’s powder shows percentages of moisture, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrates and fibre that are 5.5%, 2.41%, 11.2%, 15.4%, 63.92% and 1.52 % respectively indicating the promising scope for using moringa leaves as a major food ingredient.
Title: Management of Information and Knowledge Centres in Cloud Computing Environment: Opportunities and Challenges
Abstract :
Cloud computing is a new technology model for IT services which many libraries and organizations are adopting. It allows them to avoid locally hosting multiple servers and equipment and constantly dealing with hardware failure, software installs, upgrades and compatibility issues. For many organizations& libraries, cloud computing can simplify processes and save time and money. This article defines changes of libraries in cloud computing environment opportunities and challenges. It also discusses how cloud computing
solutions could be beneficial to libraries in three basic areas: technology, data and community. Information Centers are contemporary name of library and similar foundation and this paper talks about Cloud Computing application in Information Centers.
Title: Role of Moodle in a Course Management System
Abstract :
Encouraging the implementation of e-Learning in India , reduction in educational budget, competitive threats, changing profile of learner and the vast geographic area are in demand. Content development plays a key role in e-learning. Designing of content with good interactivity is essential for an effective teaching and learning system. Quiz forms the important aspect of evaluation of a student and this has variety of questions to be framed.
The basis methodology is to create the category of quiz under which all questions are stored and they can be used selectively by the teacher for various exams. The detailed information of adding courses, category, sub category and activity is being narrated in this paper one by one.
