Economic Botany is the study of the relationship between people and plants. Economic Botany intersects many fields including established disciplines such as Agronomy, Anthropology, Economics, Ethnobotany, Horticulture, Microbiology, Nutrition, Medicine, Chemistry, Forestry, Pharmacognosy, Geology and Geography. This interdisciplinary link explores the ways humans use plants for food, fodder, fiber, fuel, medicine and commerce. There are several famous books on Economic Botany in India that we have studied. These are our wealth. In the first edition of this book, the authors tried to keep in mind that students can get help to prepare themselves directly for their examination. There are two parts to this book.
