As Veterinary Council of India (VCI) has revised the whole curricula of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry programme (MSVE- 2016), there is requirement of student’s practical manual of Veterinary Biochemistry. While there are sources of standard textbooks for routine consultation as well as occasional references, there is a great paucity of laboratory manuals for regular usage. A well compiled practical manual would be immense help both to the teacher and taught. This manual is prepared by keeping in mind that the whole syllabus of Veterinary Biochemistry Paper-I (Unit-I, General Veterinary Biochemistry & Unit-III, Veterinary Analytical Biochemistry). So, this manual is comprised of subject matter of whole Veterinary Biochemistry paper-I Practical. An attempt has been made to give detailed information in systematic way along with flow diagrams, tables and illustrations. For intricate analysis of the subject, in between exercises, a few terminologies and questions are given for practice of students, which will help them in their Viva-Voce examination.
